Design Process

Things can look awful before they look beautiful! 

A designer’s brain is running wild until the last ornament is placed. When I stand back and stare at it for 5 full minutes in total silence, I am not judging your taste in the tree and trimmings. I’m silently becoming emotionally connected to my work, while trying to remain disconnected from your family’s special traditions. Somehow it’s impossible. I care just as much about where your sentimental ornaments are placed as you do. When I leave your home, what I’ve done to your tree remains there. It has to be perfect!
